The final round of the Maxence Larrieu Competition unfolds today at <\/span>2:30 pm<\/b> at the Nice Conservatory, where the four finalists will showcase their virtuosity before an audience of enthusiasts and a distinguished jury.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first half of this finale opens with the performance of <\/span>Jacques Ibert\u2019s Flute Concerto<\/b>, a piece as complex as it is captivating, allowing soloists to reveal the full richness of their technique and depth of interpretation. <\/span>Federico Altare, Julin Cheung, Bianca Maria Fiorito<\/b>, and <\/span>Tommaso Gaeta<\/b> will perform this masterpiece, accompanied by the <\/span>Nice Philharmonic Orchestra<\/b> under the baton of internationally renowned conductor <\/span>Lionel Bringuier<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Following this initial performance, a <\/span>30-minute intermission<\/b> offers the audience a unique opportunity to attend a gathering in the Conservatory\u2019s main hall with two iconic figures of the flute world: <\/span>Emmanuel Pahud<\/b> and <\/span>Maxence Larrieu<\/b>. A rare moment, indeed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The finale resumes at <\/span>5:00 pm<\/b> with a change in repertoire. Each finalist will interpret <\/span>Mozart\u2019s quartets<\/b>, accompanied by the <\/span>string trio of the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra<\/b>. These pieces will highlight the elegance and sensitivity of each performer in a more intimate and refined setting.<\/span><\/p>\n
