Larrieu Competition Festival

🍁 As autumn approaches, the second part of the Competition is taking shape and will begin on 21 October at the Conservatoire de Nice, with the 23 candidates invited by the Principal Jury for this 2nd Round, followed by the Semi-Final and Final on 24 and 26 October.

This year, in addition to the rounds, the À Travers la Flûte association, in partnership with the La Traversière and Jean-Pierre Rampal associations, is organising the Larrieu Competition Festival. It will take place from 23 to 26 October. 🗓
This festival offers a series of varied activities with masterclasses, conferences, workshops and exhibitors of all flute brands as well as publishers will be present on 24, 25 & 26 October, from 10am to 6.30pm to welcome all the flautists who come for this event.
The great names of the French flute will be accompanied by famous international flautists. 🎶

🌟This year’s competition will also include a big party to celebrate the 90th birthday of the eminent flutist Maxence Larrieu, President of the Jury. It will take place on 25 October. During this exceptional day, concerts, master-classes, a lecture-concert ‘Un art français’ given by Denis Verroust and a Gala Concert will be organised, bringing together his family, former students and members of the jury.
