Dutch flutist Mirna Ackers enjoys versatility, uniting her passion for music, her love for arranging, and her background as a musicologist. Currently, she is on trial at the North Netherlands Orchestra, and she is co-organizer of Flutopia, hosting events for amateur flutists.

Mirna frequently performs with esteemed Dutch orchestras like the Netherlands Philharmonic and Rotterdam Philharmonic, as well as the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra. Mirna studied with Kersten McCall (Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra) and Marieke Schneemann at the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

Pablo Alcántara Martínez currently works as Co-Principal Flute in Oviedo Filarmonía, while collaborating regularly with other ensembles such as Spanish National Orchestra, Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and Basque National Orchestra.

He started his flute studies with Ana Alcaraz in the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, to then pursue his Bachelor in ESMUC Barcelona in the studio of Vicens Prats and his Master in Hochschule für Musik und Theater München under the guidance of Andrea Lieberknecht and Natalie Schwaabe.

Pablo has been awarded a Second Prize in the Nicolet International Flute Competition in Guangzhou and also a Second Prize in “El Primer Palau” Competition in Barcelona, where he got to perform a recital at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Miguel Almeida was born in Porto, in 2002. He began

his musical studies at the age of 6 of age at the Porto

Music Conservatory, at the age of 7 he began to study

the flute in the of Professor Olavo Barros with whom

he concluded the 8th grade in the same institution with

classification of 20 values. He continued his higher

education at the

Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona with Julia

Gallego, having, at the end of that year,

moving to Lisbon for the School Superior of

Music of Lisbon who attends currently um the

class of Nuno Inácio During your academic

journey won some awards, as well as soloist

and chamber music, of which stand out: 1st

prize in the competition Internacional de

Gondomar, was a finalist in three editions of

CJ.Com having won the 1st prize (level C),

and 2nd prize (level D) that gave him the right

to a solo concert with the

OrquestraJovem.Com, was a semi finalist

Jovens Músicos-Nivel médio (Portugal) ,

2nd prize at MAP-IMC (Los Angeles) and won a scholarship um the final of the

GRAN PREMI MUSICAL in Andorra. In

chamber music won the 3rd prize at the

Young Musicians Chamber Music – Level

Medium, with the flute quartet

“TEGUIMINO”. He have won the first prize in the Viena Classical Music Competion that gave

bom the opportunity to play as a soloist whit the WienerStadtorchester um the Palais Ehbar

in Vienna. He have played to a solo concert with the Orquestra Sinfònica da Escola Superior

de Música de Lisboa.

Liceu, Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil (Lisboa), Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa.

Federico is an Italian flutist living in Paris, where he is pursuing a doctorate at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris under the tutelage of Sophie Cherrier and early music studies with Jan De Winne.

After obtaining his Bachelor’s degree at CODARTS Rotterdam with the support of the “De Sono” association and perfecting his skills at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, he distinguished himself as a member of several prestigious orchestras, including the Verbier Festival Orchestra and the Lucerne Contemporary Orchestra.

A keen conductor and chamber musician, Federico founded the Lights Ensemble and is a member of the Schafer Trio and the Galanti Conversazioni Ensemble. A versatile musician, he performs throughout Europe in a wide range of repertoires, from baroque to contemporary music.

Mathilde Alvin Besson studies at the CRR in Grenoble with Vincent Guillot then in Mathilde Calderini’s class at the ESMD in Lille.

In 2021, she attends the class of Julien Beaudiment, Emmanuelle Réville and Gilles Cotin at the CNSMD of Lyon.

Since 2023, she is Erasmus student with Andrea Lieberknecht and Natalie Schwaabe at the Hochschule of Munich. In 2023 Mathilde plays with the French Youth Orchestra and with Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse from April to July. Presently Mathilde is 1st flute at the Staatstheater am Gartnerplatz in Munich. She has just passed the 2nd flute position at the Stuttgart Staatsorchester.

Mathilde also holds an EDHEC master’s degree in management of cultural institutions.

After obtaining her flute master diploma at the National Conservatory of Paris with the highest distinction, Gladys achieved her performing artist course in 2022 with Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas.

She has performed as a soloist with the Orchestre National d’Auvergne and has also played in prestigious orchestras such as the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre National de France and Radio France as well as the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.

Continuing her passion for the orchestra she currently play in the Orchestre des Lauréats du Conservatoire de Paris as the principal flute since September 2022. Appreciating chamber music equally, Gladys performs in various groups from duets to quintet in concerts and festivals throughout France.

Ema Bajc began her musical journey in Ljubljana, Slovenia, performing her first solo concert with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 13. She studied in Mainz with Prof. Dejan Gavrić and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Prof. Kersten McCall.

Ema has been a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. She has performed with professional orchestras in Germany and the Netherlands, such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Gürzenich Orchester Köln.

From July 2022 to February 2024, she was a fixed-term member of the Bremen Philharmoniker. In January 2024, she became an academy member of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen under the direction of Paavo Järvi.

Joshua Batty is currently solo flute with Sydney Symphony Orchestra having previously held the same position with RTÉ  Concert Orchestra, Ireland and Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester. Alongside this he was appointed a flute professor at Royal Northern College of Music aged 22 and later Melbourne Conservatorium.

He has been a guest Principal Flute for over a decade with over 30 leading orchestras worldwide travelling extensively across UK, Europe, USA, South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Joshua is currently focusing on a solo and chamber career having given multiple world premieres of solo works, performed at Buckingham Palace before royalty, and appeared as concerto soloist under conductors John Wilson, Johannes Fritz and Simone Young (upcoming: Sydney Opera House 2024).

Alexis Bernier, who started playing the flute at the age of 7, has been studying at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal since 2016 with Marie-Andrée Benny, then Jacinthe Forand and Denis Bluteau.

He is currently pursuing a bachelor in music and is a member of the orchestra at the Conservatoire. In recent years, Alexis has also had the chance to learn from great masters such as Emmanuel Pahud, Julien Beaudiment, Robert Langevin, Ransom Wilson and Michael Cox. In the summer of 2024, he will be a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada (NYO Canada).

Over the years, Alexis has won first prizes in several competitions such as the Concours OMNI from the Orchestre Métropolitain, the Festival Concours de Musique de Sherbrooke, the Concours de musique de la Capitale and the Concours Classival. He also performed as a soloist with the Orchestre Sinfonia de Lanaudière.

Zeynep born on July 30, 1998, in Ankara, Turkey. At age 16 She played with the‘Borusan Philharmonic Orchestra’ for their “Mahler 9th Season Opening Concert.” In 2023 she graduated from Conservatorio della Svizzera İtaliana and got her‘Bachelor of Arts in Music’.

In 2022 she was chosen as one of the recipients of the scholarship given by ‘Foundation Main Dans La Main’ for November 2023, her performance was showcased on the episode created by ‘WQXR Classical Radio in NY.

She has played in important concert halls such as the CRR Concert Hall in Istanbul, KKL Luzern, the LAC in Lugano, RSI ‘Auditorio Stelio Molo’. In 2021 She was honored with the prestigious title of “Rising Star Award” by Sir James Galway. Additionally, she won prizes in the competitions such as the Varna International Flute Competition in 2018, the Cahit Coparal International Flute Competition in 2022, The ‘G. Betti Scholarship 2024’ in Reggio Emilia, Italy. She is pursuing her ‘Master in Performance’ studies at the same Institute with Andrea Oliva.

Annika Boras is a German-Italian flutist. She studies with Henrik Wiese and Timea Acsai at the University of Music in Nürnberg (Germany, Bavaria).

She is an intern with the Augsburger Philharmoniker and collaborates regularly with several orchestras in Germany, such as the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the Ensemble Moderne, and the Deutsches Radio Kammerorchester.

As a soloist, she performed twice with the Bad Reichenhaller Philarmoniker, following an invitation of the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the orchestra.

Since October 2021 she has been regularly invited to several events organized by the Italian flute association “Falaut”.

Laurine Califano was born in Montélimar, France and started to play the flute at the age of 7 years old.

She studies at the conservatoire of Montélimar, then Grenoble and obtains her diploma in 2016 in the conservatoire of Lyon. She continues in 2017 in Aix-en-Provence in Jean-Marc Boissière’s class. She joins in 2019 Stéphane Réty’s class in the Musikhochschule of Dresden, Germany where she graduates in 2023 (bachelor’s degree).

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the university of arts in Graz, Austria in Matthieu Gauci Ancelin’s class. Laurine wishes someday to play in an orchestra and participates in many projects since the beginning of her studies.

Tomás Pereira Celeste is 20 years old and born in Matosinhos, Portugal. He began his Flute studies at the age of 7, in 2010, at the Óscar da Silva School of Music, in Professor Rui Sousa’s class, having completed the Basic Music Course with the highest rating.

He joined the Conservatório de Música do Porto at the age of 15, in 2018, in Professor Marco Pereira’s class, having completed the Secondary Music Course in 2021 with maximum classification. Currently attending the 3rd. year at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, in the Class of Professor Michel Bellavance.

Throughout his training, he was awarded prizes in several national and international competitions and participated in numerous Masterclasses, having also performed as a soloist in several Recitals and Concerts.

Minaya started the flute at the age of 11 as self-taught.

After studying and graduating at the Conservatoire d’Orléans, she moved to Paris to study with renowned teachers such as G. Sgambaro, E. Ophele and F. Chatoux before being admitted unanimously in the Paris Conservatoire CNSMDP to study with P. Bernold and F. Souchard-Délépine.

Along with her flute studies, she is also a bachelor student in Chamber music with M. Moragues, playing flute and harp duo with her sister Sujata. Concerned by the subject of the access to classical music for everyone, they like to change the format of recitals by performing in diverse and unexpected places.

Passionate about historical performance, she learns recorder and baroque flute in the 7e arrondissement conservatoire.

Minaya is principal flute of the orchestre d’Orléans since 2024.

Fedor Chernyshov was born on 9 August 1995 in Saint Petersburg into a family of musicians. He graduated from the St Petersburg State Conservatory, named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, in the class of Professor Denis Lupachev, soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra (2013-2018). He is also a graduate of the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart (2018-2020).

He obtained a Master’s degree in the class of Professor Davide Formisano in July 2022, and then joined the Mozarteum University (Austria, Salzburg) in the class of Professor Paolo Taballione, soloist with the Bavarian Radio Orchestra.

Since September 2021, he has been principal flutist with the Mikhailovsky Theatre Orchestra in Saint Petersburg. He is also a member of the MusicAeterna Orchestra, conducted by Teodor Currentzis.

Julin Cheung is a student of Jeffrey Khaner at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Originally from Seattle, Julin studied with Demarre McGill, Zart Dombourian-Eby, and Jeffrey Barker. He has won a number of awards, notably first prizes in the Severino Gazzelloni Flute Competition and the National Flute Association’s High School Soloist Competition.

Julin performed as a guest artist for the 13th Slovenian Flute Festival and toured as a part of Carnegie Hall’s NYO-USA in 2023. He will join the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra in the summer of 2024.

Jan Chłap is currently a student at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, where he is refining his skills as a Konzertexamen student under the guidance of Professor Janos Balint.

He has been awarded in over 30 competitions in Poland and abroad. Since November 2023, Jan has held the position of Principal Flutist at the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice (NOSPR).

Additionally, in 2024, he was selected as a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) for the Spring Tour 2024.

Pierre Cornu-Deyme is a young French flutist, who has held the position of co-solist flutist of the Victor Hugo Bourgogne Franche-Comté orchestra since September 2023.

He has been studying since September 2020 at the CNSMD de Paris Philippe Bernold and Florence Delépine class where he obtained his bachelor degree unanimously.

After having been finalist in several internationally renowned orchestras auditions, he was invited to play with the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Orchestre de Picardie, the Orchestre de Chambre de Nouvelle Acquitaine and the Le Balcon ensemble.

Metka Črnugelj was born in 2003 in Postojna. At the age of seven she started with flute lessons in Music School Postojna by Suzana Furlan Mitev. At the age of 10 she had her first flute solo recital. In 2018 she successfully passed entrance exams at Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana in class of renowned professor Nataša Paklar. In 2022 she was accepted into class of one of the most renowned professors Andrea Lieberkencht at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. She attended some masterclasses with well renowned professors such as Andrea Lieberknecht, Henrik Wiese, Felix Renggli, Matthieu Gauci-Ancelin, Martin Belič, Karolina Šantl Zupan, Eva-Nina Kozmus… Since her earliest childhood she has been involved in public performances, events and projects within and outside the school. She made her first recordings already in primary school, In summer 2021 she played in a duet with her father when they had some successful concerts at the International festivals in Slovenia and Austria (Seckau). In the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana Metka played in the flute quartet Evterpa. They had a recital in the cycle for Glasbena mladina Ljubljanska in April 2022. In winter 2023 she had solo concerts in the cycle Virtuosos at Ljubljana Festival and in the cycle Glasbena mladina Ljubljanska. In summer 2023, under the same organization, she had 5 concerts all over Slovenia with guitarist Maja Kralj. In December 2023 she played Carmen Fantasy with the Slovenian Radio Orchestra at the Manager’s concert. She is a scholarship holder of Yehudi Menuhin Live Musik Now München as soloist as well as a member of the Trio Tubi. In recognition to her past achievements in performing and competing the Škerjanc Award was given to her by Concervatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana.

Avigea Delivicheva was born in 2004 in Vienna. Since 2023 she is studying with Sonja Korak at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna as well as with Matthieu Gauci-Ancelin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
Avigea won several national and international solo and chamber music competitions, such as Musica Juventutis 2023, “prima la musica” and the 3rd Leonard Bernstein Department Competition 2023, among others. She was also elected for a concert as a soloist in the Musikverein Vienna. From 2019 to 2023 she was principal flutist at the Musikgymnasium Orchestra in Vienna.
Avigea has taken masterclasses with Andrea Lieberknecht, Felix Renggli, Sophie Cherrier and Alessandro Baticci. She has also enjoyed consultations with Barbara Gisler-Haase, Wally Hase, Georgi Spassov and Raphael Leone.
Currently she is a member of the prize-winner quintet Take5.

Camille Dupont-Bouyer began his musical career on the piano in Issy-les-Moulineaux, before turning to the flute, piccolo and chamber music. He studied at the PSPBB and the Paris Conservatoire, graduating in 2022 with honors in the class of Philippe Bernold and Florence Souchard.

He performs with various orchestras, including the Orchestre Français des Jeunes, the Orchestre de Picardie, and the Orchestre National d’Ile de France, in prestigious halls such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Hamburg Staatsoper.

He is currently second flute and piccolo with the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine.

Marta Dzięcioł was born in Poznan (Poland) in 2000. She has been taking flute lessons since the age of seven. In July 2022, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Felix Renggli’s flute class in Basel (Switzerland) and is currently studying for her Master’s degree.

She is a prizewinner of over than 30 national and international solo and ensemble competitions and a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (Poland) and the prestigious program: “Mloda Polska”. Marta has performed several times as a soloist with orchestras, including the Basel Chamber Orchestra.

Bianca Fiorito is the second Flutist and Piccolist of the Münchner Philharmoniker. Born in Rome in 1999, she graduates with honors at the age of fifteen from S. Cecilia Conservatory.

She continues her studies at the Académie Supérieure de Musique of Strasbourg with M. Caroli and then at the Universität Mozarteum of Salzburg with M.M. Kofler, where she obtains her Master of Music and her Post Graduate Degree.

As a soloist, she performed with orchestras from Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany. She has been awarded international prizes, among which are the Gazzelloni Competition, the AudiMozart Competition, the Krakamp Competition.

Devoted to chamber music and contemporary music as well, she often performs premières and pieces written for her.

Born in 2002, Lucie began her musical studies in her native region of Alsace, at the Conservatoire de Colmar, under the guidance of Florence Pennerath and Catherine Baert, where she earned her Diploma of Musical Studies with unanimous distinction and jury commendations in 2018.

It was through chamber music and orchestral experiences that she developed a deep appreciation for classical and romantic music, participating in various ensembles such as duos, trios, wind quintets, flute ensembles, and symphony orchestras. She regularly performed with these groups at Villa Fleck in Ingersheim (68) between 2015 and 2019, where she also completed her Chamber Music Diploma in 2018.

Her orchestral experiences marked a significant musical turning point when she explored opera through productions in partnership with Opera National du Rhin in Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s La Traviata, and Offenbach’s La Vie Parisienne, serving as principal flute within the Conservatoire de Colmar orchestra.

At the age of 19 in 2021, she joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, studying flute with Philippe Bernold and Florence Souchard-Delépine, and piccolo with Nathalie Rozat.

Lucie remains active in chamber music with Malizioso Quintet, a group of friends and young musicians formed in 2021. They perform at various festivals in Normandy, such as Evrecy en Musique and the “Eure Poétique et Musicale” festival.

She has performed with several symphony orchestras including Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the orchestra of the Conservatoire de Paris, and the Symphonic and Lyric Orchestra of Paris.

Dedicated to musical education, Lucie has been teaching flute privately since the age of 15 and participates in outreach workshops in Parisian hospitals and primary schools.

She has received valuable guidance from Sandrine Tilly, Michel Moraguès, Julien Beaudiment, Stéphane Réty, Andrea Lieberknecht, and Emily Beynon during masterclasses and workshops.

Since April 2023, she has held the position of flute/piccolo in the National Police Orchestra.

Tommaso Gaeta, born in 1999, began his musical studies at the age of 7 and distinguished himself as a member of the Junior Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Rome, at just 12 years old, meeting his fundamental teacher Andrea Oliva.

Graduating with top honors from the Conservatories of Music Alfredo Casella and Luisa D’Annunzio, he furthered his education at the Musikhochschule FNHW in Basel.

Joining the European Union Youth Orchestra in 2022, he has collaborated with renowned conductors and soloists in major concert halls and festivals across Europe. Winner of the 10th Severino Gazzelloni International Competition in 2022, he is now an academist at the Musikcollegium di Winterthur.

Flutist Sangeun Han, a prodigious flutist, achieved excellence early, graduating from Yewon School and KNIGA. At age 16, she began studying with Prof José-Daniel Castellon and Loïc Schneider at HEMU de Lausanne in Switzerland.

Notably, from age 14, she secured first place in prestigious competitions in South Korea and internationally, captivating audiences globally.

Her talent has graced esteemed venues like Berliner Philharmoniker Kammermusiksaal, Zurich Tonhalle Hall, and Prague Smetana Hall. She’s garnered attention from European newspapers with a string of victories and performances worldwide.

She is a rising star in the classical music realm, poised for a promising future.

Ziqing Huang is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler with the renowned flutist Mathieu Dufour. In 2022, she was admitted to Hanns Eisler and studied with Renate Greiss.

In 2020, she won the special prize in the Macau International Youth Flute Competition. In 2021, she won the first prize in the International Music Competition China-Spain. In 2022, she won the third prize in the Hong Kong International Flute Competition.

Ziqing Huang is widely recognized by maestros for her full lyricism, profound musicality and brilliant performance skills in her music.

Pierre-Antoine studied music in France, and is now active in Germany as a flutist.

His extensive experience of chamber and orchestral music makes him a sensitive and ambitious performer.

His repertoire ranges from baroque flute to jazz and contemporary music.

Born on September 29, 2000, in Daejeon, South Korea, Yeoshin Jang obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Currently pursuing her Master’s studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin.

She currently plays as a intern in the SWR Symphonieorchester, is a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, Verbier Music Festival Academy & Orchestras (VFO) and is an academist in the Zermatt Music Festival & Academy Orchestra, and additional activities.

Chayeun Kim, born in 2008, began playing the flute at age 10 and has won numerous national and
international competitions. By age 12, she passed the Kumho Gifted Audition, which led to acclaimed
performances at Carnegie Hall and the UN Headquarters. In 2024, she enrolled in Korea National
University of Arts as a gifted student, having graduated top of her class from Yewon School and
received the President’s Award at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. She has won
various prestigious competitions, including the “Severino Gazzelloni” International Flute Competition,
the Tokyo International Flute Audition, and the Rising Stars Grand Prix International Music
Competition. Chayeun has extensive performance experience, including collaborations with global
orchestras and ensemble performances with the Soave Trio. She continues to hone her skills through
master classes with world-renowned flutists.

Ha-eun Kim, born on December 13, 1999, in Seoul, South Korea, is a distinguished flutist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yonsei University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Additionally, she is a student at the Staatskapelle Berlin Academy.

Ha-eun has achieved notable success in her field, including winning first prize and the Audience Prize at the FAC International Flute Competition, as well as third prize and the Jury Special Award at the Tokyo International Flute Audition. Her musical education includes mentorship under renowned flutists Sébastian Jacot, Sunghyun Cho, and Joohee Lee.

Young South Korean flutist born in 2001, Seohyeon Kim arrived in France in 2016 to pursue her musical studies. At the age of 14, she was a laureate of several international competitions such as the Maru International Competition (South Korea, 2015) and the Alexander and Bueno Competition (Singapore, 2013). She was unanimously admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris where she successfully completed her studies before entering the Diploma of Performing Artist program. In 2017, she won the Kobe International Competition (Japan), and at the age of 20, she achieved second prize at the Carl Nielsen Competition (Denmark, 2022) along with the special prizes from the young jury and orchestra members.

After participating in several orchestra audition finals for the position of principal flute, she joined the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne under the direction of François-Xavier Roth (2020-2021). In 2022, she unanimously obtained the position of principal flute at the Zurich Philharmonic. Alongside her studies in classical flute, Seohyeon also has a keen interest in traditional Korean music and plays the Sogeum flute, on which she performs Dok-Do Arirang on her debut album.

Anna was born in Abakan in 1995. In 1999 she began her flute and piano studies in the A.A. Born in 2002 into a French ans Spanish family, Célia Mora discovered her love for the flute at a young age. Growing up in the south of France, she began her training at the CRR de Montpellier with Jean-Loup Gregoire before joining the CRR de Rueil-Malmaison under Pascale Feuvrier. In 2020, she entered the CNSMDL in Julien Beaudiment’s class.

In parallel, she co-founded the trio Leona (flute, viola, and harp) and frequently performs chamber music concert. Célia regularly collaborates with national orchestras and has appeared as a soloist with symphony and chamber orchestras on several occasions.

Jia Lee was born on June 10.1999 in South Korea. Since childhood, she has been deeply interested in music and self-expression. At the age of 12, she began learning the flute, and through a lot of hard work and practice, she has grown into who she is today.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Yonsei University under the guidance of Professor Sung Hyun Cho, and she is currently studying at the Hanns Eisler School of Music with Professor Mathieu Dufour, gaining new knowledge and experiences.

Still in love with music and passionate about performing, she will continue to strive to become an even greater flutist in the future.

Born in Seoul, South Korea on July 6, 2004, Judy started the flute at the age of 10. She participated at VI° International Flute Competition “Severino Gazzelloni” for Category B (born 1996~2000), held in Pescara, Italy and became the youngest First Prize Winner (in Cat. B).

Besides that, she has also won numerous international competitions, including the Paul Streit Special Prize at the 2023 Concours de Genève, the1st prize at the Leopold Bellan International Competition and the Special Jury Prize, the 2nd prize and the Special Prize at the Theobald Böhm International Competition, the 1st prize at the Falaut Virtuoso Prize International Competition, etc.

She was selected as a GMF (Gonjiam Music Festival) Rising Star in 2017 and performed with the Gyeonggi Philharmonic under the direction of Philippe Bernold (Professor of Conservatoire de Paris, CNSMDP) at the Concert Hall of the Seoul Arts Center in 2018, and has also been chosen as a GMP (Global Music Partnership) Young Artist and has held her debut at Carnegie Hall in 2018 and released a digital single album.

After moving to Paris, she received her first training in France with Claude Lefebvre at the Conservatoire de Paul Dukas and she has also worked with Magali Mosnier at the CRR de Paris. She passed admission concours for 1er Cycle Supérieur in CNSMDP (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris) and currently studying with Sophie Cherrier.

Under the guidance of Philipp Jundt, Louis Liu ventured into competitions, winning accolades like the Australian Young Artists International Competition and the New Zealand Jazz Flute Award for best flutist in the country. Each experience, whether competing internationally or studying abroad in Switzerland, has contributed to his growth as a musician and individual.

Beyond music, he is passionate about boxing, aspiring to turn professional one day. Balancing these passions teaches him valuable lessons in discipline and resilience. With humility and gratitude, he aims to share his love for music, inspired by mentors and fellow musicians who have supported him along the way.

Madalena Lopes was born in Lisbon, and she’s currently studying with Jacques Zoon and Salvador Martínez at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid.

During the previous year, she has been a member in the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester in all the projects, and recently, she was accepted in Europion Union Youth Orchestra.

Over the years, Madalena Lopes had masterclasses with Andrea Lieberknecht, Silvia Careddu, Pirmin Grehl, Michel Bellavance, Adriana Ferreira, Alja Velkaverh, Paco Varoch, Sophie Perrier, Francisco Barbosa, Ana Ferraz, Katherine Rawdon and Gil Magalhães.

Born in 2004, Maël Metzger started flute at the age of 6 and entered three years later the CRR in Paris in the class of Nathalie Rozat.

At 17 he joined the CNSM of Paris and studied with Philippe Bernold. Eager for encounters, he has been a member of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra and participated in the Erasmus program by joining the Mdw in Vienna.

Winner of several international competitions, he participates in chamber music festivals and has performed in orchestra at the Festival d’Aix en Provence under the direction of Duncan Ward or at the Philharmonie de Paris in the production Sonntag aus licht of Stockhausen.

This summer he will be a member of the Ofj and the Pacific Music Festival in Japan.

Daniel Mieczkowski is a flutist and conductor from Poland. He studied flute and conducting in Warsaw and Munich. He is a laureate of international flute competitions, including: in Krakow, Uelzen, Brno, Vilnius. He also took part in the International Competitions in Kobe (semi-finalist) and Geneva.

He participated in numerous master classes with flutists such as Patrick Gallois (Accademia Chigiana), Philippe Bernold (Internationale Musikakademie in Liechtenstein), Peter Lukas Graf, Andras Adorjan, Carlos Bruneel, etc.

Currently, he cooperates with the Fryderyk Chopin University as an assistant and as a conductor-in residence with Sinofnia Varsovia Orchestra.

Ludivine Moreau is solo flute of the Orchestre National of Lille since 2021. She studied with Stéphane Réty at the Hochschule of Dresden, then with Philippe Bernold and Julien Beaudiment at the CNSMD in Lyon.

She then decided to perfect in contemporary music in the CNSMD of Paris. She regularly plays with prestigious Europeans orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, the Opera Vlaanderen.. Passionate about chamber music, she is invited in many music chamber festivals.

Kateryna Movchan was born in 1996 in Luhansk, Ukraine. From the age of five until she was twenty, she was trained and mentored by flutists Olga Soboleva and Vladimir Turbovsky. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s degree at the Kunst Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz.

Akiho Nakata began learning the flute at the age of 11. She studied at Doshisha Women’s College of Liberal Arts in Japan with Ryuji Masumoto. She is currently studying at Alfred Cortot’s École normale de musique de Paris with Vicens Prats.

Aurélien PICARD discovered the flute through the tale “Peter and the Wolf” and Prokofiev’s music.

Eager to imitate the bird song, he started his studies with Séverine Isoir at the CRR Caux Vallée Seine, and pursued them with Céline Nessi at the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. In 2019, he joined the CNSM of Paris in the class of Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas. Driven by a natural curiosity, he took piccolo lessons with Pierre Dumail and Nathalie Rozat, and began learning Indian music under the teaching of Nicolas Delaigue.

He is the flutist of the ensemble Hédoné.

Alexandra Piskořová was born in the Czech Republic in 2004. She studied Flute at the Janáček conservatory in Ostrava, and is currently in studying to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in the class of Prof. Michael Martin Kofler at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, where she has been studying since 2022.

Her achievements include e.g. 2nd prize in the international flute competition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (2023), 1st prize at the international interpretation competitionin Jastrzebie Zdroj in Poland (2022), 2nd prize at the international competition CLÉS D’OR (2021), and 1st prize at the international competition “Novohradská flétna”(2017).

Marie Redon began learning the flute at the age of 9 and joined the specialized classes at the CRR de Paris in 2005.

She studied under Madeleine Chassang and later Vincent Lucas, earning her Diplôme d’Études Musicales in 2013 and her Prix de Perfectionnement Instrumental two years later.

She continued her studies with Céline Nessi at the CRR de Boulogne – Billancourt, then with Sandrine Tilly at the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse in 2017.

In 2018, she was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon, studying under Julien Beaudiment, Emmanuelle Réville, and Gilles Cottin. Throughout her education, Marie benefited from the guidance of esteemed professors and orchestral musicians in master classes across France, Italy, and Russia, including Sophie Cherrier, Michel Moraguès, Claude Lefèbvre, Michel Bellavance, Silvia Careddu, Christopher Waltham, Marie-France Giret, Michel Brun, Igor Volochine, and Tatiana Zelikman.

Passionate about orchestral music, she has performed with several French orchestras such as the Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris, Orchestre National de Lyon, and Orchestre de l’Opéra de Lyon, in prestigious venues including the Palais Garnier, Auditorium de Lyon, the main stage of the Opéra de Lyon, and Théâtre du Châtelet.

Eszter Boglárka Réti is a 22-year-old Hungarian flutist. She started playing the flute with Zoltán Stuber and later entered the Bartók Béla Conservatory in Budapest in the class of Dr. Zsolt Romos in 2017. She won 2nd place at the National Hungarian Flute Competition for Conservatory Students.
She was accepted to the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest in 2021, where she continued her studies with Prof. Zsolt Romos. She won 1st place in the Chieri International Flute Competition (2022), 1st place at the Dutch International Competition (2023, Category Bachelor students), and 1st place plus the Ernesto Köhler special prize at the Severino Gazzelloni International Competition (2023, Category B).
She has played with many orchestras and festivals, such as a concert tour in the Czech Republic at the Mladá Praha Festival (2022), performing C.P.E. Bach’s Flute Concerto in D minor with the Central European Concert Orchestra (2022), performing in the final round of the Dutch International Flute Competition with conductor Jans Carlo and the Corde di Francesco String Orchestra (2023), as well as being broadcast live on NPO Klassiek Radio in the Netherlands, playing in the wonderful Concertgebouw Amsterdam (2023).
In the spring semester of the 2022/23 school year, she received an Erasmus grant to study at the Kunstuniversität Graz with Matthieu Gauci-Ancelin.
She is currently back at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, finishing her third and final year of her Bachelor studies.

Luana Rocha, a flautist born in Angra do Heroísmo, began her studies at the age of 6 with teacher Rodrigo Lima.

In 2020, she entered the Conservatório de Música de Aveiro, in the class of Professor Ana Maria Ribeiro. She is currently in her first year of bachelor’s studies at the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, in the class of Professor José-Daniel Castellon.

Throughout her musical career, she has won several national and international competitions and participated in masterclasses with renowned teachers.

Since 2022, she has been a member of the Orquestra Académica Filarmónica Portuguesa andhas collaborated with the Orquestra Filarmonia das Beiras and the Orquestra Filarmónica Portuguesa. She has participated in the Sonuds of Change project, in 2022 and 2023, where she had the opportunity to perform with the orchestra at the Ljubljana Festival.

Honduran-born Jorge Rodriguez has performed on stages such as the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Great Hall of the Berlin Philharmonic, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt and the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf. He has performed as soloist with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Honduras, the Chamber Orchestra of San Pedro Sula, the Symphony Orchestra of San Juan/Argentina, the Basel Symphony Orchestra and the Musique des lumières Orchestra in Switzerland. He has worked with conductors such as Heinz Holliger, Adam Fischer, Alpesh Chauhan and Marie Jacquot, among others.

He has participated in international Competition such as the Carl Nielsen International Chamber Music Competition, the ARD International Music Competition laureate of the orpheus chamber music competition in Zurich and recently won first prize in the 5th International Soloist Competition in Grenchen, Switzerland.

Currently studying with Felix Renggli at the Musik Akademie Basel and Michael Martin Kofler at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg.

Songyoon Ryoo was born in Seoul, South Korea, and made her solo recital debut at the age of 11, after being selected as a Kumho Prodigy by the Kumho Cultural Foundation. She has appeared as a concerto soloist with orchestras, including the Transilvania State Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Prime Philharmonic Orchestra, and Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra.

She has also been a prizewinner in numerous competitions both in Korea and abroad, including 3rd prize and special prize in Cluj International Flute Competition, Asia Flute Federation Competition, Ewha Kyunghyang National Competition, and NYSMF (New York Summer Music Festival) Concerto Competition.

In 2022, Songyoon won the scholarship of Yamaha Music Europe Foundation (YMEF) and played as Principal Flutist in Nationaal Jeugdorkest (The Netherlands) for the 2022-2023 season in Het concertgebouw and Konzerthaus Berlin. She also regularly played contemporary music with DoelenEnsemble as an internship and broadened her repertoire. Her quartet, Esca quartet, reached the final of the Grachtenfestival Conservatorium Concours where they were praised by the jury for their exceptionally professional playing.

Songyoon studied at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris from 2015 to 2018 with Michel Moragues and Magali Mosnier. Since 2018, she has been studying at Codarts Rotterdam under the guidance of Juliette Hurel, Julie Moulin, and Wim Steinmann for piccolo.

Born in Madrid in 1997, Iker Sáez began studying the flute at the age of 7 in Madrid with Vicent Cintero.

From 2012, he took private lessons with Riccardo Ghiani, who would become his mentor throughout his career. He then studied two years in Barcelona and Zurich. He has been a member of the Swiss National Youth Orchestra (SJSO) and has taken part in festivals such as Verbier and Lucerne. In 2018, he won an internship at the Zurich Opera House.

He played with orchestras such as the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and the Spanish National Orchestra, among others… In 2022, he was awarded 2nd Prize in the Guangzhou Competition (former “Aurèle Nicolet” Competition) and won the audition for the Rahn-Kulturfonds agency for young musicians in Switzerland.

Yui Sakata studied at Osaka Kyoiku University, Tokyo University of the Arts, École Normale de Musique de Paris Alfred Cortot and Hochschule für Musik Freiburg under Prof. Haruyuki Nakatsukasa, Prof. Ayako Takagi, Prof. Jean Ferrandis and Prof. Mario Caroli.

Yui is a first prize winner of several prestigious competitions such as the International Dutch Flute Competition, A.Razbaum International Flute Competition, D.Chimarosa International Flute Competition and Les clés d’Or International Music Competition.

She currently plays as the principal flutist of the Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg.

Dorotea Senica started playing the flute at the age of 8 at the Maribor Conservatory with Valerija Kamplet, with whom she also graduated. At the age of 15, she passed the entrance exam for flute concert studies in Michael Martin Kofler’s class at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees with honors.

During her master’s studies, she went on an Erasmus exchange to CNSMD Paris, where she studied with Philippe Bernold. At national and international music competitions, she won more than 10 times and performed several times as a soloist with an orchestra.

Born in 2006, 17-year-old flutist Melody Shen is from New York and currently studies with Carol Wincenc at the Juilliard Pre-College.

She has performed on stages in New York, Italy, Spain, Finland, and France, earning awards including first prizes in the 2019 Suzanne Culley Competition, the 2020 Little Mozarts International Competition, the 2021 and 2023 New York Flute Club Young Artist Competition, the 2023 Camerata International Artists Competition, the 2023 Severino Gazzelloni Flute Competition Category B (ages 18–22) at 16 years old, and she was an invited artist for Salon De Virtuosi’s 2023-2024 season.

In the summer of 2023, Melody toured with Carnegie Hall’s NYO2 and participated in the Festival International de Musique Classique à Puget: La Mélodieuse, where she worked with composer Yuko Uébayashi and Orchestre National de France flutist Michel Moragues.

In February 2024, she was accepted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP) with unanimous decision from the jury.

In the summer of 2024, she will join the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra.

Melody hopes to captivate and touch audiences by sharing her multilayered personality through her music.

Reina Shim is a 16-year-old flutist who will attend Colburn Conservatory for a Bachelor of Music this upcoming Fall with her teacher Jim Walker. Starting at the age of 7, she began her music journey as the youngest student of Soyoung Lee at Seoul Arts Center Gifted Talented Academy. After returning to the United States in 2018, she was chosen as the MTNA Junior and Senior National first-place winner and NFA Junior National 1st place winner.

She was also the 1st place winner of the Dutch International Flute Competition and 1st place winner in many competitions: Berlin, France, and England. In 2021, she was awarded for outstanding Junior Performer at the Galway Flute Festival. She has also participated in master classes with James Galway, Jeffrey Khaner, Lorna McGee, Lowell Liberian, Jasmine Choi, Yubeen Kim, and Joidy Blanco.

Chloé Tallet, a flutist, comes from a family of artists. She began playing the flute at the Conservatoire de Nancy before continuing her studies with Pascale Feuvrier. She then pursued her bachelor’s degree at the Pôle Supérieur de Paris in the class of Magali Mosnier and completed her master’s degree at the CNSMD de Paris under the tutelage of Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas. She discovered the piccolo through Nathalie Rozat, with whom she still works today, and has studied in the classes of Pierre Dumail and Edouard Sabo.

An eclectic musician, Chloé places great importance on a variety of musical styles and performs in various ensembles: from symphony orchestras to opera, chamber music, large jazz and improvisation ensembles, and contemporary music.

For several years, Chloé has regularly performed with different orchestras: the Paris Opera, the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the ensemble Le Balcon, the Orchestre Pasdeloup, the Orchestre Colonne, the Orchestre Victor-Hugo Franche-Comté, the Opéra National de Lorraine, the Opéra de Metz, and the Opéra de Toulon, among others. She has also performed with large jazz ensembles such as the Umlaut Chamber Orchestra.
